Utok is an interloper deity worshipped by the Inaii of Shadowspace.[1] He is currently deceased, not that the Inaii have noticed.

Overview

Utok was a rogue deity who had been wandering the multiverse in search of worshippers. When he discovered Shadowspace, he realised that the gods who had created the sphere in the first place had put the system into motion and then abandoned it. Recognizing that the unguarded sphere represented an amazing opportunity, Utok approached the leaders of the Inaii, a pegasus-like race native to Myyn, and offered his services in exchange for their worship. The Inaii are a short-sighted and self-absorbed race, only interested in their own well-being, and they readily agreed.[2]

Description

Utok resembled a humanoid male with a pair of immense feathered wings and a horse's head with a broad grin.[3]

Worship

The Inaii are half-hearted in their convictions and have no formal services. At most they offer up the occasional mumbled prayer.[4]

Death

Utok left Myyn in search of new worshippers on other worlds. He journeyed to a distant crystal sphere, where he attempted to seduce the inhabitants of a heavily populated world into abandoning their gods and worshipping him instead. The angry gods responded by destroying him. The Inaii have never discovered their god's fate, not that they would be particularly interested.[2]
